Course for those working in the hair, nails & beauty sector
This awareness course is a CPD course to give those who work with children and young adults an understanding of their legal roles and responsibilities when working with those under the age of 18, or those they are responsible for under apprenticeship and other work schemes.
Under the Education and Training (Welfare of Children) Act 2021, all apprenticeship training providers delivering publicly funded training, including those in the hair, beauty and wellbeing sectors, are required to have effective safeguarding arrangements in place for learners under the age of 18.
This includes ensuring that staff are appropriately trained to:
